Reminder!
- HHSC is requesting the job descriptions of only the SHARS delegated nursing and personal care service provider positions listed (filled or vacant positions) on your district’s current participant list (AJ22 quarter). Since these categories can be a mixture of staff at the district and do not require licensure or certification, please submit detailed job description.
- HHSC is requesting the job descriptions of the different regular education, special education, resource, inclusion teachers and aides job titles. If you have different special education job title/positions listed on your PL, HHSC is wanting the job description for both positions. For example, if there are two different position titles listed on the PL such as, “Para-SLC” and “Para SESC,” these are considered two different positions, therefore we are wanting the “job posting” description of these 2 different job titles.
- HHSC also knows there are different job titles and duties for teachers, special education teachers, aides, etc. Again, HHSC wants to know the different position titles and job descriptions only of the participants listed currently on the PL.
- As stated in the initial audit announcement on February 25, 2022, participants and/or positions that provide direct medical services and Medicaid administrative activity services to students, should only be on the participant list. If the position does not bill for services, the position and/or staff person should not be on the PL and removed immediately.
- When submitting this information to Time Study, please do not give your own personal description of the job duties. HHSC expects the same detailed job description and title your district would post for any applicant applying for a district position.
- Submit this information to Time Study by Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at timestudy@hhs.texas.gov.
- In the subject line, please write “[District] Job Descriptions.” If the information is not received by the deadline due date, a follow-up response will be sent with the Superintendent copied on the email.
If you have any questions, please contact HHSC at timestudy@hhs.texas.gov or (737) 867-7794.
