Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership (TMHP) has released the October 2022 through December 2022 Certification of Funds (COF) report.   TMHP is asking LEAs to certify that Medicaid allowable state/local funds have been expended in the amount equal to or greater than the Total Computable Expenditures as shown on the COF statement, which represents the federal share of the Medicaid payments received during the quarter plus the associated state/local share.

The ONWARD system has a convenient report which will provide our clients with that information.  The name of the report in ONWARD is Certification of Funds.  District clients can use this report to reconcile their Certification of Funds statement or districts can reference their R&S Reports.

On the second side of the COF letter, TMHP requires LEAs complete the date range for the quarter.  The date range for the second page of the letter is 10/1/2022-12/31/2022.   Be sure to sign, notarize and return the letter to TMHP.  ONWARD recommends keeping a copy for the district as well.
